FAQs

  • HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
The procedures may take 2.5~3 hours, from the consultation to tools’ preparation, application of the numbing cream, pre-drawing, the treatment, and post appointment debriefing. FOR A MORE DETAILED PMU/BROW PROCEDURE OVERVIEW
  • HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Microblading is considered a semi-permanent procedure, and the results usually last between one and three years. The pigment gradually fades over time as the skin exfoliates and regenerates. Micropigmentation such as Ombre brows, on the other hand, tends to last longer, with results lasting up to five years. However, the longevity of both techniques can vary depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
  • DOES IT HURT?
While individual pain tolerance can vary, brow micropigmentation is generally considered to be a tolerable procedure. Prior to the procedure, a topical numbing cream is typically applied to minimize discomfort. Most people report feeling minimal to moderate discomfort during the process, likening it to a slight scratching or sensation.

  • WHAT SKIN TYPES ARE GOOD CANDIDATES FOR MICROBLADING ?
Typically, the most ideal skin type for Microblading is Dry to Normal Skin. Clients with oily skin and large pores or textured skin may have a harder time retaining the pigment or having crisp defined strokes. Other brow techniques like Powder brows may be more suitable for clients with this type of skin.
  • WHO SHOULD NOT GET PERMANENT MAKEUP?
Although PMU is suitable for many clients, there are a list of client requirements that clients must read and qualify for prior to booking. Please thoroughly review the client disqualification list prior to the booking.
  • WHAT IS SALT-SALINE TATTOO REMOVAL?
Salt-saline tattoo removal is a commonly used method of permanent makeup removal that lightens and lifts pigments that have been implanted in the skin during PMU procedures and also it can be used to remove small body tattoos. Clients will usually require multiple sessions to achieve the desired results.
  • WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SALINE TATTOO REMOVAL OVER LASER REMOVAL?
Both saline and laser are well-respected methods of removal. Both can be amazingly effective and provide the results you are hoping for. However, more and more artists are offering salt-saline removal and customers are preferring it for the following reasons: 1. It is considered less invasive than methods such as laser. 2. Some lightening solutions contain all-natural ingredients which are appealing to clients who want to avoid using harmful chemicals or strong lasers on their skin. Laser cannot be used around the eyes or on the lips. Saline solution is safe and effective in removing poorly done eyeliner or lip tattoos. 3. Laser can permanently remove brow hair. Saline will not affect your eyebrow hair at all. 4. Both the healing process is about 7 to 10 days. Saline removal does not cause any blistering. With some lasers, you may experience blisters, if so, that could prolong the healing process. 5. Laser notoriously does not remove white (titanium dioxide) or will turn it black or gray after procedure, however Saline removal does not recognize color but rather pigment uniformly so it can be highly effective in removing all colors including white. Saline not only is effective in removing titanium or pigments containing titanium…it can also lighten and remove titanium that has been hit by laser and oxidized. 6. Tattooing skin after it has been lasered is often unsuccessful. Saline removal tends not to affect the skin in this way if proper techniques are applied. 7. This technique is usually more cost effective for both the client and artist.

Lightening unwanted pigment can be a long process and patience is required. This is true whether you are choosing a saline lightening product or laser. Please be patient and give the process a fair chance to work. Expect visible and wanted results in 2 to 5 sessions. How many sessions needed will depend on how saturated the pigment is, how deep it was implanted and how much needs to be removed for the desired result.
  • HOW LONG SHOULD YOU WAIT BETWEEN EACH TATTOO REMOVAL?
It is important to the process and integrity of the skin that 6~8 weeks of healing take place before another lightening session can be done.
